SEEING THE STAR WARS TEASER ON THE BIG SCREEN! THAT SPEEDERBIKE SOUNDED SO COOL! VOOVOOVUUVUUU!!! The second best part was... GIANT SANDWORMS!! That pop up for ten seconds and then do bugger all... Yeah, wait for the DVD.
Yeah, the movie was far from being really exciting - its what happens when you make three movies out of 300-400 some pages of one book. But I agree that Star Wars trailer almoust threw me down from the seats
Well I enjoyed the final hobit film. Saw it last night. No star wars trailer though, I'm guessing it's probably on YouTube somewhere though....
I liked the film, elf bull and all. Although some of the battle scenes were so fast and quick that I literally couldn't see what was happening, it was all a blur. Which is a horrible habit in action films, because what's the point of a action film where all the action is blurred away?
If I was a suspicious person I'd say blurry cgi is much cheaper to produce as you don't need nearly as much detail and it still looks believable...
Oh and the final fight between Azog the CGI man and Thorin the Beardy Beardbeard was just silly. Like, people were laughing.
Only watched the first two Hobbits so far, but I'm really not a fan on the increased reliance on CGI for landscapes.
That was the thing, in LotR you were like "Damn, New Zealand looks AWESOME." In the Hobbit you're like "Eh, another CGI world"
