You vs. Opponet

    Why have Accept vs Decline when you don't even know who they are? If I was going to decline, I wouldn't have hit 1v1 ladder. Aren't we going to allow it to show their name?

    no, that would allow metagaming of who you play.

    Well, I actually declined match once. I was minimized, and because it took so long to find an opponent, I found something else to do. When I heard the sound, I was like 'damn, I am still in matchmaking', so I declined it and exited PA.

    If matches were instant, then yes, you wouldn't need that option.

    This (i.e. myself being stupid) actually lost me a match with the old PA Stats ladder once, so I'm okay with the accept/decline system.

    I've had a few people quit in the lobby against me before (and I guess they received penalties). I'm not sure where I was going with this point but it was probably just bragging.

    well, some people prefer a penalty to a drop in rank lol

    that's dumb, the whole point of it is so that if you suddenly have to do something you're not already committed.
