Commanders n' stuff | 2nd party program

2nd party program that allows design of a commander- you can create your own 3d model of each body part, attach each part where you please, and submit it to uber with some cash.

They will put it in the game after moderating it (let's keep the walking **** and balls out) and allow you to have your own custom commander. For people who would like to design their own commander.

Can we do this?

Yep. Yes it would. But it would also widely spread the amount of commanders in game. Every game you might see a new commander. That would be awesome.

It would also dry up the sales of commanders from the armoury and thus depriving Uber of a revenue stream.

i dont think there is such a thing as an easy "make your own commander" 2nd or 3rd party modelingprogramm were you then can go and just submit it torwards uber ... you may have to use stuff like 3d max etc. anyway ... sounds a bit fishy as well

i say wait (for quite some time) till the 1000$ tier commanders are done and maybe then uber might think about letting people contribute further commandermodels which can be purchased by others through the armory ..
to me this thing is too early ...

If you make your own commander, you can just release it as a mod; no need to pay Uber for that.

can you however make a mod that shows your model in a ranked match for both players ? ... because i dont think so ....

but then wouldn't other people have to have that mod installed to play with me? or would it be a server mod?
