PTE Build 76412-pte now live (updated with new build 12/16/14)

    Bug: Unable to construct metal extractor

    Playing ai map, no mods PTE build 76079

    Reclaimed enemy ai metal extractor, there was only basic extractor- no advanced extractor.
    As picture demontrates, is water.

    When trying to place the metal extractor in this particular case, was not given the water model extractor.
    The land model extractor was my only option, and it wanted to build it underwater at certain angles, and on water surface at other angles/positions.

    But in every case, I was not allowed to place the extractor.

    This is not a constant bug, so it's hard to reprocduce any incarnation of the bug.

    I like the naval changes. The way I see it, buffing torp launchers can only lead to good things.

    Also, Leviathans are much harder to kill. YAY.

    Can't seem to make a game via the lobby. Only create local is open. Weird.

    Checking mods now.

    This looks amazing. Really great job with this UI setup. I like the use of complimentary colors.

    We're looking at this now. It's not mods. Somethign with the servers. Right now only local or ranked playable :(

    The fire on area-commands video is distracting.

    The control-z text should probably probably say something about "units of same type" If the units themselves are already selected, why would I want to select them again?

    User note: my start menu extensions look bad, but still work

    - a jungle temple instance added to jungle biome
    - two lava rock brushes got turned off
    - unit cannon:
    -- new attr? hide_deploy_projectile
    -- new attr? hide_stored_units
    -- new attr? force_fire_from_muzzle
    -- new attr? default_firing_pitch
    -- only seems to be building six units, although I can't see any corresponding JSON changes. Does seem to visually match the model.
    -- pods now have transporter attributes
    - mod note: umbrella has a new weapon and ammo spec for anti-pod
    - player guide has a series of files under media/ui/main/game/guide; mod scene is 'guide'
    - new api calls, likely work-in-progress: setPathableCsg, clearPathableCsg (except it calls set_pathable_csg), and setMergableCsg. Don't appear to be used anywhere, and partial implementation in api and keymap is spotty.

    the unit cannon is lookin good. :D though my game crashes sometimes when it is fired. :confused:
    [edit] might not even be the unit cannon nope definitely the unit cannon
    [edit2] also, for the animation of the cannon the pod sliding back into the firing section needs a hole in "fab chamber", right now it slides through a wall

    When will the orbital launcher animation be fixed???....it bugs me

    Why do unit cannons only have 6 pods now, instead of the original 12? I didn't see that change anywhere in the patchnotes.
