for the four tournaments it might be possible to balance them out and then also make them region friendly, making two of the four USA Aus favored and two Europe favored. the competitive players of PA are mainly EU but it would be nice to actually see a timezone map of where people are that are up in uber and high plat right now to give some better ideas as to time zone and tournament times

Then, maybe a KS is a good idea? I know it's a bit early but the sooner the better I guess.

Also, I am based in the UK too and I'd be happy to volunteer and help with anything PA-related happening in the UK for free. In fact I am already organising a couple of PA-themed local events in the city I live at the moment (Edinburgh).

Idk if an in person event is that great of an idea because the community is pretty small and dispersed all over the world. I don't think the event would get enough viewers to make it worth it and it would require way too much work/money, unless you want to fly me to the UK :) in which case a local event is the best thing for PA and the community.

I'm the lone American in the top 10 :O. Although that is probably not true, I like to live in ignorance.

I've been part of some large events in the past in other games where someone made a good pitch to a sponsor and they provided a seriously good prize fund, has anyone from our community tried that yet? Just to make it clear now, I haven't the time or the patience for that sort of thing these days as my day job is too demanding but if someone else has then I'd give them my support to help organise :)

Before I ask jables and see if I can drive down and have a talk with them I would want a solid plan and a few other plans as backup if I commit to having this event I'd plan a full online one, a casting meet up one with players fully online. And a full event one. As @Yaegz said though this community is far to small to condone plan 3. Plan 2 would be slightly possible but only having the UK people all meet since as said before they have the main casters there. But plan 1 is by far the easiest way to do this cost wise.

A few other things that would be cool is if all contestants had Webcams for interviews. Not sure on that though.

So Im going to post a poll probably in a few hours on a new thread and if it gets a good vote positive and amount wise then I will advance this from a idea to a planning area

I will be fully making a pitch to all major gaming related companies if this does go into a planning stage.

I meant only for casters so that people can see them live on webcam while casting and full screen in the time between matches and interviews, @reptarking has already mentioned the several possibilities so I will not discuss it further :)
