I honestly say, that seeing how cheap PA is on steam, and how much hate it gets- Guys, I love this game. Y ppl gotta b so stoopid u fel me lel

As I'm coming from the FAF community I can line up the general thoughts of what they think there:
- UI is not advanced enough
- Game's not balanced
- Some players don't like the design style
- Not enough competition (although this ladder looks promising)

However, I started playing a couple of days ago and I'm really loving the game so far. If I stay interested in the game I'm going to try to drag some of the FAF players in here

I know a lot of them tried PA at some point and compared it to what they are playing now. It's a natural thing to do, but PA has had a lot less time to be developed than FAF. I would encourage them to keep checking back every few months as long as improvements are still being made.

I think if Uber had waited until just before Christmas to release PA it would have been received a lot better.

yeah, but it wasn't the team's decision. It was rushed. Best rushed game I've ever seen though.

I dont have a lot of time to play, but when I can, I play PA.. This game is ******* amazing..
Another reason why this game get some bad reviews is because it is a hard game to play.. It isn't a game to everybody.. You have to be a bit smart to play PA...
Still, even with the bad release, there are a lot more positive reviews than negative ones, and that is important

I laugh when ever I hear, “they had no choice, and they had to release it”. They chose to release an unfinished product, and they were criticized for it. As a side note, RTS gamers are not clamoring for a multiplayer focused game.

Pretty sure they didn't. There were many reasons they had to rush it out, mostly due to their contract with nordic I think the company was called? Probably wrong on the name though.

They had a retail deal with them, and though they won't admit it, I wouldn't be surprised if that's why PA was released early.

No, Nordic asked them NOT to release it according to Garat (?).

It was rushed out because Uber wanted to launch the Human Resources kickstarter soon and they didn't want accusations of starting another kickstarter without finishing their last kickstarted project.

We all know how that worked out for them.


Can't find the post where Garat/Scathis/Whoever said that Nordic felt that it was too incomplete to release. Probably was deleted with the Human Resources subforum?

I don't know if we should make such bold statements saying "it was because" as this is speculation and we don't want anyone getting the wrong idea.

Well yeah, PA isn't popular because it's not finished when it's released like it was.

Edit: Actually a couple months longer than that.. Since June/July of last last year.

I really don't like this game. I try to to build my city of peace, I employ my fabbers to build up the GDP, lights always stay on, potholes get fixed, kids go to school, police arrest the bad fabbers. Even has an airport. But then 10 minutes in, a hoard always arrive uninvited and hunt down my fabbers. Rumor has it they are cannibals .

All around disturbing game...

The game's never going to be balanced. Someone somewhere will always insist "x is too OP. Plz buff y".

I'm sure there are some people people that don't like the design. There are also some people who think that Nazis escaped to a moon base. Looking for universal approval is an exercise in futility.
