    It 'can' be a factory also, but the transport function needs to be the primary role.

    I feel anyone not willing to talk about their feelings on balance, etc... Don't exactly count for the discussion. It's like complaining about the president when you didn't even vote.

    I agree with the factory implementation FOR ONE REASON:

    It FORCES players to focus on late game strategies instead of bogging the sim down with three thousand idle tanks or whatever.

    Other than that, it should be a transport.

    No, no it doesn't. It makes it so that they have nothing to do with those 3 thousand idle tanks so they stay where they are, leaving the lag happening. If they could be loaded into the UC and used then the lag would reduce as a result.
