Well they DID deliver on it. Unlike a lot of other kickstarters that kinda did nothing apart from wasting money in the end. They build a full blown RTS with planets and pretty well thought out tech within 2 years and delivered that. Objectively they have achieved quite a lot with the resources they have. There is a game there that many people have played for hundreds of hours by now.
And hey they are even delivering more and more over time
But yeah for the angry masses those statements were ... a bad choice of wording.

"We gave what we promised on PA, we delivered. so you can trust us on KS, also PA is finished now"

They never said that. Quite the contrary. But yeah they promised a RTS with lots of units on planets and they delivered that.

dude you can't play on the words like that. what they said word for word isn't the point of reference here. what they implied is. this part of the video was intended (and I know subtext when I see it) to make it clear to people not initiated to the PA world that PA was done and they could focus entirely on HR.

it doesn't matter where the true actions lie, what they were really going to do. I'm not going to allow the double interpretation play they were using here to play in their favour.

Well yeah a part of the whole problem might be people who don't even read FAQs, assume wild things, spread wild rumors and then rage when their dreams are not fulfilled, claiming that they were promised fulfillment of their wildest fantasies.
