Thanks for that information. I have a main menu mod that breaks in PTE but I will hold off on fixing it if your next update will change things even more.
Oh thanks! I misunderstood and thought you meant the one expected for this week or next. Time to go start hacking.
December starts next week. Big update monday morning confirmed! Now I am curious what the next big update will be. I mean we are just about to receive the stable version of the current big update, but still xD
Yeah this made me really curious because to me every update seems big. If this next patch with the map editor of our dreams and a shiny new leaderboard isn't big, what is?
Actually I am pretty certain the map editor update is "big". But what is the next big thing after that?
I think it would be cool to see top players in your league. That way each league can see what's going on at the top of theirs, and it would allow people to improve more progressively. IDK, just an idea.
I have a very annoying bug since the last 3 pte builds. Some mountains are visible for me, but are not there for other players. Also, my units walk through these mountains as if they are not there. I also have spots where there are no visible mountains, but I cannot build or walk there, as if there is an invisible mountain. In the screenshot you can see the units as strategic icons walk over the mountain. In the picture in picture the units are not visible, they are under the mountain. In some cases this is just annoying. Some games are just unplayable because I cannot see where I can build...
That sounds a lot like your client has different biome definitions than anybody else, so it generates different planets, that missmatch with the server data. Try to: a) disable all mods and make sure to delete the whole content of the directory "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\mods" b) validate the game EDIT @jables you are the first person who has ninja'd me twice on a single day as far as I can remember
I only have the system sharing mod, I will disable it and do some testing. Since it doesn't happen every time, I cannot promise to post a positive result shortly.
Maybe a stupid question, but howto verify the game files on steam? I am running linux. I could delete the game and redownload if needed, but I rather verify since redownloading doesn't help getting more information....
Thank you, I was trying to find the article on how to do this. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335
