    i did watch a replay in the pte of the new changes you made to that overcrowded spawn point map and its looking alot better.

    Not a ton of folks are doing the PTE 1v1 Ranked, tbh.
    I've been using to test my new server mod, but not much else really.

    Yeah, I tried to play some ranked 1v1 games today and gave up because it was taking such a long time to find a match.

    I know it seems kind of whiny to complain about a 5-10 minute wait, but I've been spoiled by playing during prime EU time on live.

    Some feedback from me: Why not address many of the open and still reproducable issues in your issue tracker?

    I don't understand you guys...you're actively soliciting feedback on and fixing some other minor things meanwhile you've got major issues that numerous people have reported [1], that are in some instances blocking people from being able to play the game. Bro, do you even priorities?

    There is a mod where you can get the user tag number down.

    While there is a mod to do that it should not be a hard thing to fix. Same with PA#4081

    Fixing that is as simple as making their internal curl call use gzip (we have verified that ubernet does support it. On linux SXX was able to just create a patched curl library and it worked, in general it was possible to mod it in to use jquery ajax with gzip directly from js as well, circumventing curl. Making curl use gzip is as simple as adding one parameter to the call) and it would have a really great effect on people with not that fast internet and save a lot of bandwidth for uber as well.

    These are quite bad issues with quite easy fixes that have been around for ages. The modder who fixed the second one got annoyed that Uber did not act and removed his mod for it as well.
    There definitely are a bunch of "easy to fix" things that Uber could do that we have been waiting for since ages.

    On my personal list far up is for example the broken selection of combat units vs engineers units where it selects the unit type that has more units within the selection box, so the player would need to count the units before selecting to know what he is gonna select.

    Getting the community to have a feel of "Uber is listening to us closely" is mostly a matter of getting to know what small things like these most people have on their mind, based on talk in the forums. It's not easy to do obviously.

    @jables has greatly improved it already though, the example issues all are around since longer than he is with uber. He might never have seen them so far, being busy with processing feedback for current PTE features in a quite awesome way.

    I know uber should fix this, but if Zainny is really annoyed by this problem he can partially fix it before uber gets to solve the problem.

    But yeah, selecting my fabbers and commander instead of my combat units and removing all my build ques annoys me so much aswell :( and before i found the mod this user tag map issue annoyed me a lot aswell.

    Btw, what are you reffering to with the modder who fixed the second one, what second one?

    "same with ..." the bug that causes the server browser to eat waaaaay tooooo much bandwidth, making the server browser seem super laggy. I think it's from @mikeyh just like the user tag map mod.

    And while talking about feedback:
    I want bigger planets. Bigger planets. Bigger plaaaaaaanets;)
    The 500 size for osiris is better than 400, but it still is far away form a reasonable size of maybe 700 to 800 :p

    Personally I think there is a real risk in pandering to the wants of this forum community vs addressing the wider playerbase concerns. Since the loudest voices in this small forum community are the competitive multiplayer folks we're almost guaranteed never to see significant balance changes (all those 100hr+ competitive players would freak - so much time invested in to learning the current metas) or any focus on a single player game, etc.

    Meanwhile, as this small community shouts about how fantastic Uber is, the steam player stats for PA are at an all-time low (while Forged Alliance has gained over the same period...fancy that) and sales are completely down the drain.

    PA was selling well initially and yet the playerbase now is a miniscule fraction of that - to me it seems like people dropped off from PA much much faster than most other games. My advice to Uber: Focus on understanding why those people aren't enjoying PA and fix that (and a hint - you won't learn why here on the forums).

    Well I'd like a mixture of sizes. The maps we have are good examples of small maps. A few 600 or 700 rad maps would be nice too.

    Funny exactly those people are screaming for significant changes all the time to the point of not playing much anymore until they happen.

    Also I'd love to see your detailed sales data on PA that you seem to have.

    Also if Uber can find feedback anywhere it is here. It needs to be visible that Uber reacts to feedback on the forums, as to get more people to give feedback on it. There is no other place that can happen.

    Not to mention that the current changes to planet making are CRAZY important for any kind of player. Do you really not realize how important these changes are to virtually any player of PA? Boring random maps were one of the big issues PA had. It's being resolved now.

    I think uber are quite aware of what the problems are tbh. Also we don't know what the sales position is, only guess.

    The reduction in players is partly seasonal I think- I mean due to its heritage pa has a lot of more mature gamers, and this is a busy time our year. Most players in both promethean and team burning are students or older. I expect a big up tick in active players over the Christmas holidays.

    As for the main issues with the game, the reviews cover much of that. PA has a chance of being an all time great multi player game, which can work (see games like lol). It lacks a lot from a single player perspective. The issue is with limited resources, where are they best spent? Is it best to perfect your strengths, or improve the weaker areas? Ideally they will do both tough I think getting the multi player game sorted first would make sense as it's already close....
