Just had a jig explosion ingame, looked awesome!!! It didn't play any sound effect yet, though. Also the commander explosion with a planet smash looks weird, since the mushroom cloud keeps on flying with the planet movement speed if a commander was on the moving planet. Maybe just remove that effect, or add a new effect for that as well. Is there going to be a planet explosion effect for two equally sized planets as well? Still, looking awesome Ben!!
I finished a game, clicked 'requeue', and then it said I was already in a game. So I clicked "rejoin" and crashed the client. Known issue?
http://www.pastats.com/chart?gameId=244048 Just played the new lava map. I really like the new plateaus and cut-outs. Leaves room for some very interesting turret play. The maps seem like they're getting far better every update. Pathfinding around CSG's is still weird, and units get stuck, sometimes. The metal spots were also flipped upside-down for me, I could see the bottom of the model of the metal ore.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I know there was a bug where clicking Requeue says you're in a game and clicking Abandon automatically adds you to the queue, but I hadn't heard of the client crashing after selecting Rejoin.
EDIT: This may be a dumb question, but how exactly do I edit CSGs and metal spots? I am completely new to this. Hello, I discovered the elusive static bug. It happened on a second match I attempted to play, and the bug occurred right at the start of the match. Screenshot: It could have something to do with rendering planets. Also, for some reason, the metal planet got corrupted ingame. F5 did not work to fix it. Screenshots: PA log is attached below.
@jables Responding per request. First off I would like to say excellent work too all those working on the ladder. The current maps are balanced and entertaining. That being said I do believe a healthy portion of the community wants larger starting planets in the map pool as well. Another couple requests would be to have the ability to chat with your opponent after the match, and to see the leader board position of your opponent after the match. The matchmaking system is currently working great. The balance changes are appreciated and I believe the community is looking forward to more development in this area. Thx for your hard work on the ladder uber and I can't wait to see what's on the horizon.
This one has been a difficult one to repro. If you're able to consistently get this graphical error, please let us know. We really need to reproduce this error in order to find the cause.
For chatting after the match is over, just hit Chronocam and you'll still be able to chat with everyone after the match is over.

Has there been any thought to background-queueing? By that I mean, put me in the 1v1 queue but let me look at the leaderboards, settings, server lobby/list, etc. Then notify when a match comes available so I can jump in.
