Hello, this'll be a thread where we go on about all the features we demand be in the editor. :> I'd love to see a button for placing brushes symmetrically, as well as one to flip a copied or selected brush. Ooh and I wanted to tell of a bug in the editor, when you have symmetry on, on your planet and you copy and paste a brush in the editor the brush will teleport to the other side of the planet where you selected (other side of the axis), this wouldn't be so bad if it didn't make it also drag in the opposite direction you want it to go when you have it selected. This seems to only happen on one side of the axis, and not the other.
I want the ability to create scripted scenarios and/or campaigns in the system editor. I would so rape the thing and make lovely little campaigns full of little stories. Possibily with parts of my currently ongoing fan-fic included. :3 Basically... I want the Warcraft 3 Map Editor in the system creator.
A list of planets, because It's very difficult to click on small ones, or to find a planet in large systems. Please say if this won't happen, so I can just make it myself.
a biome painter, so that we can paint metal/desert/moon/mountain/lava/ice/tropical/earth biomes onto planets that wouldn't normally have them.
Brush palette and auto save are top of my list, largely because of the crashing, maybe I should just set an alarm . Also it'd be nice if you could synchronize planets on the same orbit. And I think this would be super simple to mod in, but a key bind reference from the planet editor, but again I could just find a pen and paper
Feature placement. Brushes could be nice too, but features can have limited game effects. (Slightly disappointed metal placement wasn't done this way, at least under the hood)
A large 'wall' pallet that is easy to path around and straight up blocks units, useful for creating solid lanes. Maybe this already exists. Also +1 to a paint pallet.
If we want customized planets we need to configure the spawn loactions and also be able to pre select which team spawns where
