Some sort of mod has to be causing you not to see planets in the lobby as well. At least I cannot. I should document it's cause...
But then you'd have dead players able to talk during the game to the living players. I was talking about after the game is over.
Had a crash occur when I built anchors against the AI. Here is the log, says something about ring being an unknown value for a particle emitter. Entirely possible this could be a mod. Even so, nice to know if and which.
Well, run with --nomods and build an anchor again. Unless the crash is not consistent of course. At least you can still check the log to see if all of the errors are still there.
I have a pretty good feeling this will be rejected but... why not make this a toggle-able setting? That way you could select all of a unit and tell them 'focus anti-air', 'focus air to surface', etc? If it is just a single button bindable like 'hold fire' then it adds some flexibility in gameplay without a lot of micro.
Great longterm solution IMO. Making a priority fire toggle under fire at will or hold, and make it option 1, option 2, and option 3. Then the unit json specifies what priorities the options actually have. For fighters it could be air or land. For tanks it could be bots or tanks. For bots it could be bots or structures. For orcas, it could be units or structures. For t2 bombers, it could be advanced mobiles or structures. And such... That is just such a touchy thing to program in the game though, for everything to have 2-4 options for what they prefer to target.

Some things: You still have the bug where you can't requeue to a ranked match without abandoning the last one (even though you finished it) Dead players still can't talk to each other in ranked games - in other words you can't say gg to an opponent once you lose. The earth map has too many obstacles in the spawns to make base building fun. The cracks are good, the mountains less so. The earth and ice planets have spawns on the poles. This is really bad if you use polelock as your main base is difficult to navigate (I was struggling a lot last night!). Aside from the spawns on the poles, the ice map is excellent. I quite liked the lava map too but it does feel a little small - can we have size 700+ planets? Dox vision radius was reduced but the actual vision of the non fog-of-war area wasn't - this lead to some odd graphical glitches. Can we not scroll through the leaderboard?
They've been in for a long time, but the parameters were set right on the razor edge and are extremely rare in practice.
Yes and it could quickly become unmanagable micro-wise. I think the key would be to have a pretty limited fixed number of options that are common throughout (or mostly common) and probably a single button that cycles them and some clear visual indicator of the current targeting (could be done via a 'patch' on the unit icon)
I don't remember if all the landmarks came in at once, and I'm not curious enough to go trawling through the versions.

Heh, I tried the same thing. Also tried adding &page=2 and &offset=10 and &start=10, but to no avail.
First attempt to load game had a failed to connect to server error (both local and playfab) when I tried starting an AI skirmish. Restart PA fixed issue though. also, any ETA on naval balance changes @jables?
