If you could change one thing about PA what would it be?

    Ohhh, no I know what Planktum means, he simply misunderstood.

    Planktum were talking about the server software; not the hardware. :D

    it's software in both cases.

    No, Planktum is saying that the server hardware (its CPU) is multithreaded, which it is, and that eight servers are running on said hardware.

    The server software's sim however is not, which means the sim is only single threaded

    We were talking about how the server.exe is not multithreaded, or that the sim isn't. Sim is the simulation and because it's not multithreaded it's limited to one CPU core/thread, which means when that core/thread reaches it's limit... bleeeeh.

    Everything in Naval Redux. Right into vanilla. There would be so many great things to use than just dox. If it was poorly balanced, well being in vanilla at least it would be balanced from there.

    But... actually, I can't even say that is THE thing I would choose over all else. That is fine enough a server mod, and CUB is not bad either.

    I would choose save games. That is worthy.

    Can it be a big thing: I would make galactic war seem more like the single player was done in rise of nations.

    If it is a medium size thing I would like to see the antipopcorn changes applied in vanilla.

    If it is a small thing: i would say performance needs enhancement. I think we all want to play with big armies without the game becoming a slideshow.

    The Environments/Biomes' influence on gameplay. Terrain modifiers, height modifiers, an economy system based around the environment and map control.

    Currently the biomes are utterly characterless in their interaction with gameplay.

    Contrast this with TA's variable wind-speeds and power generation, height-range advantages, and geothermal power spots..

    I want more volume in the play area. I'd like to see aircraft dogfight and change altitude and chase each other through three dimensional space. Right now they all operate on the same altitude and it looks like there is an invisible ceiling. I want the same for underwater areas - no single "layer" for subs, instead I want a volume of space that they can descend and ascend throughout.
