Hey guys, this is a compilation of the various hints about the tech of the PA factions I found from the lore reveals. Enjoy! Legonis Machina Commanders are built around a self repairing frame of neurosteel: I'd assume neurosteel is some sort of smart material. Commanders consider "a few nanoseconds" to be a considerable amount of time: Tells us something about the speed at which Commanders operate. Commanders can analyse the chemical composition of air and soil: Presumably done in the "few nanoseconds" it takes to repair the memory core. More evidence of Commander speeds: Self evident. The Foundation (Some) Commanders have thrusters that can apparently lift them rather high: Either Commanders are light or those are some powerful thrusters! More Material Information: More neurosteel, as well as "permacrete", presumably some sort of enhanced concrete used by the Progenitors. (Some) Commanders have accurate point-defence rockets: That's some certainty there, Commander Ezek Nemicus! CONT.
The Synchronous (Some) Factions possess units able to burn and salt entire planets: PA Factions have wiped out all life on many worlds: Seems like this can happen both as a side effect of battle or because of deliberate destruction. PA Factions cleanse entire systems of life: Jeez, calm down, Metarch. Revenants Some artillery information: PA Artillery units fire high explosive neutronium shells. PA Aircraft can operate without atmosphere: Commanders can survive nuclear detonations underneath them: Units can be recycled and re-used: Let us do this in-game plz. Commanders can be converted to different factions; The "sentience" of Commanders comes from the memory core: Possible explanation for Galactic War Subcommanders? Uh, so that's all I've found so far. I'm sure there's a lot I've missed, particularly in the Galactic War system descriptions, so feel free to add any you've found below!
I love how dry scientific descriptions of intense events can be. From that wiki article: "A teaspoon of degenerate neutronium gas would have a mass of two billion tonnes, and if moved to standard temperature and pressure, would emit 57 billion joules of β− decay energy in the first half-life (average of 95 MW of power).[16] This energy may be absorbed as the neutronium gas expands." Thats all lovely, but the only thing we'd notice is that rapid expansion XD
