Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out with chasing up a refund for my purchase of this game.

Long story short, past release the game is still unoptimised, and missing things that were promised like asteroids and a better unit pool. Anywho I preordered the super galatic pack or whatever that is meant to have the shirt and art book and stuff like that. I have yet to recieve these nor hear anything about them.

So, best case scenario, I get a complete refund, and they remove the game from my steam library. Next best would be they leave the game because the key is activated and whatever, but they don't send me the exclusive art book and such, and refund the difference. Thoughts?

    TL;DR : I want a refund.

Sorry to hear you are disappointed with the game. For financial stuff such as refunds you should really contact support directly though.

The game is still being optimized, and features such as asteroids and Unit Cannon are still in the works.

If you want a refund now, and dont wish to wait, that is up to you.

    Just means your impatient :p

Contact support@uberent.com or even possibly PM a dev with a red name.
Uber's policy is Uber's policy. However, have you seen Steam's end user liscense agreement? You signed to it, they made sure of it, and they only give refunds to Australians who go through their country law seeking one. Valve is what I fear to be your problem there.

Anyway, if it DOES help, the physical goods need to be shipped all at once and are dated to winter early next year. The features like offline and ranked are already delivered 2 short months after release, the next thing is leaderboards dated late November, then after that map maker, and after that balance changes that have been specifically said to also include unit behavior fixes and tweaks and likely even more unit hooks like power usage for movement or the such.

Also, there are mods that add depth to gameplay. Uberbalance feels like vanilla but changes values of cost and values of damage of units. Statera adds tons of units with tons of different functions. RCBM plays like a more legacy RTS. Then there are Orbital, boom-bot-only, beam-laser-weapons, and other mods for variety and fun. If you are interested, consider getting the PAMM which makes mods a one-click-install-activate sort of deal. You can also team color your explosions and junk on the client-side, which is fun.

If you bought PA through Steam, your stuck with it. No Refunds.

Least, that is what my impression is. Thats what Customer Support told me. That goes for ALOT of steam stuff.

I'ma go ahead and lock this because this is one instance where community discussion really isn't going to be of any help.

OP as has been suggested already please contact Uber directly about the details of your account. They will be able to discuss the terms of your purchase with you with far greater insight than anyone here.
