Rank reset to occur with launch of Leaderboards

Just to make this official.

We will be resetting rankings with the Leaderboard release. This is based on multiple reasons including, new maps, matchmaker tweaks, and forum poll pushing towards reset.

We are also trying to get this release out a bit sooner than originally planned, with us shooting for the 26th of November.

Can we atleast see our standings from this "season" pretty pretty plz?

Yes, this. I want to see myself in the top 10 at least just this once!

I seem to remember there being a big update last year some time after turkey day... Anybody remember?

I'd rather not want to see my rank tbh.

We need a "Don't like" action on forums posts Also, what poll are you talking about?

And btw, I don't think anybody who currently doesn't play 1v1 should have (had) a say in this "poll"

maybe Uber could do a simple post with the top 50 or something like that. Should not be hard to grab that list from their database and post it.

oh to be honest I don't care that much about it. Don't take my post serious. I already know what my spot on the leaderboard would be .

Assuming that they already have a numerical ranking of all players or at least have a complete record of the ranked games and can compute a leaderboard from that...

That's true, there is the possibility that they so far only have a simplified tracking of the league of a player or something. But from how the matchmaking behaves I think they do have some form of player rating at least and that is all you need to sort players by rank.

Then im just trying wonky *** strats from here on out. Who cares what ranks r if there being reset. From uber to bronze in what 1 night or 2 lets see.

Unranked after 7 matches, Matchmaking doesn't know where to place me

It has been said in the update that "updating of the rank may take a while". While all matches (and thier impact on rank) are saved, actually displaying the rank might take a while.
Or maybe you encountered a bug that you could report?
