[REQ]Weapon fire delays

    Can we get some way to trigger the "fired" event but not shoot the weapon for a set amount of time? IE if I want to make a charge-up particle effect that occurs before the unit fires, and then fires at the right time in the particle effect.

    This might be of some use

    I'm not really sure how this can be added to "fire" though.

    I don't think there is any scripting involved in those areas right now. It's all configuration magic, though I am impressed by what some people have made with it btw.

    I'm just wondering, when can you actually use scripting to mod things?

    client ui mods and server gameplay mods, though the later ones are fairly limited.

    Nope.

    There is idle_aim_delay, but that's not what you want.
