Nothing biggie, just noticed nobody posted this yet, considering Gamespot is one of the bigger game news/review site. http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/planetary-annihilation-review/1900-6415935/ 7/10 I think it's kinda fair. They complained about the lack of tactical choices (swarming is the way to go) and the lack of in-game tutorial and proper documentation, which is a fair point, even though one could find many tutorials around the interwebs. Though, the user ratings are lower than the site's rating (there is a guy complaining about the lack of shields and T4 experimentals *facepalm* and rated it "2" because of that)
That was a far I review I think. And, its the first one I've seen written like someone who hasn't played the game before. They actually mentioned that the globes were completely new to the RTS genre. Funny how the ign dude missed that
I'm surprised so many reviewers focus on the AI; while it's quite impressive, nothing compares to playing against other players. But then there might just not be enough good RTS players at game review sites these days.
