    eXodus eSports is proud to announce our latest tournament: Mini Mods Mayhem. It's set for the 29th November 1800 UTC.

    In celebration of the thriving mod scene within the Planetary Annihilation community each one of the six rounds utilises a different mod.
    1. Boom Bot Wars
    2. Statera - join any Twitch stream, Stuart will tell you all about it.
    3. Base Wars
    4. Orbital Commanders
    5. Planetary Reclamation
    6. Comm Yard
    We'll be using a Swiss tournament system, so you'll get to play in every round regardless of how you do. Sign up and try your luck with some pretty crazy mods that completely change how the game plays.

    There's some huge cash prizes, and no, the order of them is not a typo it's simply a sign that the director is a massive troll.

    The tournament is open for anyone to participate in so sign up now.

    Is there a way to combine that mod with other mods to form a super uber mod?

    well, we don't overwrite most of the basic units, and we were considering asking @mered4 if we could merge our mod with his.

    I've been considering it. Haven't come up with a good reason to do so yet, since it would violate the simplest clause of the mod: Just Numbers. :)

    Your mod would be exactly 3.6 times better with that mod. Then it could be a full fledged orbital and continental mod.

    sorry, I meant merging your mod into ours (you'd keep your own mod, we'd just steal all your base unit stat changes that don't interfere with ours), but if you do end up wanting to straight up merge, I'd be totally cool with that.

    It's getting the icons from the PAMM server so you'll have to fix it yourself.

    Honestly, anyone with basic tweaking can merge basic mods together.

    If you wanted to, you could do it just to host it yourself. If you wanted to release a version including mered's changes to vanilla, you could always ask and cite him in the credits and title (orbital overhaul with uberbalance)

    Sigh I guess I need to release a new update anyway to fix the battleships being unbuildable but I wanted to fix the bug where vehicle facs area build facing (and breaking) each other. :(

    To be fair there will be no area building of vehicle facs in this, the point is to show off the statera naval play. :p

    To be fair the only projects where the creators are better than the players are those where there are no players because the (pre)alpha isn't open.

    Also, take note that Mered4 technically does not need a unitlist.json for his mod, no units were added. If another mod uses the vanilla units in it, Mered4's mod technically works for it if you replace the vanilla units folder (in your case all but orbital) with Mered4's. (note: also the commander weapons)

    Other mods just require you to create a new unitlist.json containing everything from both .jsons. That way it loads both unit sets. Otherwise, it will load one unit set or another, right now the game doesn't know how to load two unitlist.json at the same time and just load any from both.
