Had this for the first time. I started playing against the Revenants boss in Galactic War. I did nothing special next to sending some units down to attack those unprotected mexes. It also was really early ingame so guess it is not an overloading issue. Also Nvidia GTX770 and i5-4690k here and I was playing on a local server, so no replay available :3 It might be related to supersampling since I just switched it on. I always had that switched off before. Second try in this system I had no problems at all.
I remember having this graphics failure back in July (if I remember correctly). For me it always happened in GW in the beginning of a match after a few rounds. Just quitting GW and starting it again would not remove the garbled graphics so a complete restart was the only way to get it to look right again. My machine has a GTX580 3GB card in it. -Bastian Forge
No PiP thats for sure, I barely use that. And I don't think I uses the buttons either, it was to early game to look multiplanet.
I think so, I was zooming yeah You usually see textures glitch a bit when zooming to increase quality, so could be related to this. With gliches I mean squares which change a bit later and remain vague at first.
Ok I think this may be the trigger for the bug. it has something to do with zooming. We just need to know where the rest of the "gun" is. @varrak @bgolus Is that helpful guys?
I just had the EXACT Same Bug in Galactic war! I sorta got through it by turning off all the special graphics settings. Everything was still messed up and 'flashing', but atleast I could see where my units were.
Has anyone made any headway into figuring this out? Has anyone had it happen recently? I'm just really curious now. I MUST KNOW.
I haven't seen this for quite some time now, not since before I posted in this thread. I don't think there's been an NVidia driver update in the meantime either. The only possible clue I can offer is that I haven't played GW for ages, so perhaps it only affects that game mode..?
Nothing of any note - I don't even recall what action I performed immediately prior, because it was a pretty intense game and I was doing lots of things at once.
It wasn't a factor in my game since that one only had 3 minutes on the clock, alias +/- 1 minute since spawning
