I´m not asking that question as a GOG-fan, but also as somebody who worries about Ubers finances in general and the funding of HumanResources. First of all, Uber needs as many sells for PlanetaryAnnihilation as they can manage. Don´t using a plattform would directly result in a lower amouth of copies sold at normal pricing! In addition on that both GOGteam and Uber are somehow bound to do release it---GOGteam did a survey and most users wanted to have PA on there! http://www.gog.com/news/new_gaming_options_survey_results Most important: GOG gives free advertisement within there release announcement posts. If you can manage to place a link to HumanResources... This simply looks like a clear win-win-win for me, go for it!
My guess Uber will release it on GOG once all quirks of offline servers are fixed. I'm think some guys on GOG would also expect save/load implemented in user friendly way.
PA is not an old game? I doubt the game is struggling that much, and if they were, I'm sure Uber would be the first to explore solutions. Origin is just like Steam, the mindless hatred is getting real old.
While I have no problem with PA being released on GOG, but money for PA should go to finishing PA first, then founding HP.
Except in Origin, You cant gift games to other people from the store, and alot of other crap that steam can do, but Origin doesnt... Plus their customer support doesnt give a crap. Steam support is much better XD
this is off topic GOG is NOT origin. GOG has AWESOME sales and to be a part of it's library you have to be a DRM free-version of the game. that alone should be enough to show you how good GOG is.
The support stories I've heard are completely the other way around, even from those who don't like Origin on the whole. Steam Support is a cesspit. Bit of a misnomer then
