Uber please stop with Human Resource's until PA actually contains the features that you promised! "Advanced command and control" is almost non-existent "NO LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR" We are currently limited to your servers! Offline mode that you promised before release etc
Offline mode was just released in the PTE build if I'm not mistaken. Also it makes very little point to consolidate their teams solely onto PA at this point in time. For example the art department are finished....except for the custom commanders i would imagine. Not much point in having some people on the pay roll twiddling their thumbs. Also game designers.... they need work to do also... Audio... Howard needs to be doing his thang....
Trust me, HR is the last thing you need to be worried about. I'd be very surprised if the KS succeeded at this point.
Quite obviously they are extremely busy posting on forums and telling others how to do their business. If those guys wouldn't be so totally wrong and incompetent everywhere, those people would probably outdo Blizzard by now. At the end we suffer, because these outstanding talents are forever lost for us, and we have to stuck to mediocre companies like UBER.
It warms my heart seeing people sink Uber for no educated reason. People need to come together over this. Why is fearmongering the first thing people do with a lack of proper intel? Proper being, not scare tactics from unsimilar situations.
There can still be some general work done on PA such as naval, unit Canon, asteroid belts, but I think the case that ubers best interest in starting HR is quite strong. I am a little scared some features might be left out or forgotten, but I also think Uber is learning from the recent fires on the forum and since they are out of the pre release grind they'll be able to be more flexible again. Also they do need to utilize employees who are out of work, it would only hurt them if they didn't. So in the end relax HR won't kill PA, I am a little scared like you that they'll forget/choose to leave out some features, but every individual has an ideal thought of the game, it's up to Uber to better suit the game so the majority of everyone will be happy.
As far as I'm concerned about the matter: I don't quite agree that there's a kickstarter going for a new project while the old one is still unfinnished. But as long as PA keeps going and looks like it's going to be finnished one day in thhe future I'm not going to sing the doom song for HR quite yet.
