I doubt it. However, Uber should reach out to them and try and get them to change it

I reckon IGN had more issues with the game than just the offline save, so if there's a hefty number of updates coming down the pipe, Uber should just let the reviews sit for now and then attempt a pass at getting an adjusted review. Going from 6 to 7 isn't going to be a huge benefit.

Does that rating which no one(or maybe few...) would take seriously really matters to you?

So they're supposed to go back and re-review every game with every patch? That's.......well completely unworkable for starters. Also reviewing the game as released is perfectly fair as it's the developer saying here's our product, it's done, please buy it. If they don't want a negative review caused by it being broken and incomplete they just need to wait until it's finished/fixed to release it.

Meta critic reviews cannot be re-written, changed, or re-submitted. That's their rules.

Also, who gives a **** about ign. Or metacritic for that matter.

They never said PA was "done".

    http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/10/22/grand-theft-auto-online-review

As the above shows, no, screw them, either it gets to be scoreless or they can stuff the score they do give it right up their backside, so hard that it causes the money they pocket from good reviews to go flying out like Mr. Krabs in a Spongebob cartoon. No, seriously, there is NO arguement saving them, they are unvouchable, don't even try it lest you look dumb alongside them.

no you have, what’s aggressive about my post?

I'm just catching up with the forum news. originally my pot said "no linky, no proof" I felt stupid once i found out so I replaced it with something. Usually I just put a dot but I put a linky so that other people wouldn't have my problem.

IGN is part of Metacritic and Metacritic DOES matter! I won´t say I really like that fact, but Metacritic Ratings have got A LOT of influence!

Edit: Just seen the part of Metacritic-F.A.Q. that states it´s unpossible to change gaming reviews. That´s pretty shitty these days! http://www.metacritic.com/faq#item31
Uber should rerelease PA in a year or so as an "EnhancedEdition" to get new, fair reviews!

First impression is important. Basically Uber is now paying the price for releasing PA in such a hurry.

I think that Uber should ask them to re-review it, because the guy they had do it clearly had no idea what his job was. He played one or two games and said "welp, I'm done".

This is why the best reviewers only review a couple months after release, not at or before. The problem is everyone wants to know if a game is good at release. In almost every pc game, there will be updates with optimizations and fixes, improvements and changes. So if you don't change your review or make a new one then you're basically... (wait for it) .... outdated.

Unfortunately, the big number out of 100 on steam is purely based on the first review of the game by the reviewer, edits and new reviews aren't allowed, so the number is either a lie or a way of telling the devs that their game should be done when it's really done. So... to solve this, their should be 2 numbers, on for release and one for post-release. But that is of course asking way too much anyway... Or maybe reviewers should care more about coming soon features at release. But it's likely that neither will happen because that's how the world works these days.

Honestly I don´t see why they would ... or are they doing it for other games that get patches as well ?
You get one shot -that is pretty much it.

There were "legit concerns" after they announced the release date.
The current "bad" press or 6/10 is pretty much the result of the rather early release.

The game could be complete and a glorious 85/100 in 4 months.
Won´t matter though because the damage has been done.

Still waiting for TBs review, he can have quite an impact on games...

PS: I just think he is a good reviewer not necessarily the best
