Flat Maps are Coming

Excuse me for trying to be excited and try and get other people excited.

I can understand that you are excited, but that excitement is exactly what creates false expectations for everyone (since the thread title sounds like an announcement rather than speculation) when there has been no official word on the topic.

I guess I assumed people would read the post.

That's extremely dangerous. Don't make people go excited over rumors that are most likely wrong. You create big issues in the future when people realize their expecations won't become reality.

So I can't speculate? I specifically said this was speculation and specifically provided the evidence that points to it coming.

Oh yeah. And Uber has also very specifically said that flat maps are possible with their engine, given some work to it.

These expectations have been set by Uber, not by me.

To cut a long story short: Flat maps are coming to PA's engine. Everything else is wishful thinking.
