I think the actual point of this thread is to showcase the fact that Uber is aware of us. Besides I'm getting sick of all the crybabies who throw negativity around because that's all they've got, go make your own Negativity Thread if you wanna be that way

No one can deny that Uber used to communicate well. They used to have livestreams, they would create posts asking us their opinion about things...

But lately? Little to nothing. We have no clue if offline/save/server/matchmaking is even being worked on. That is not good.

I remembered/used search too. And that list is evidence, that players influence while not directly control the game.

the basic thing is, the devs get really good help with the game from feedback. They also get conflicting ideas, things that add too much detail stretch from the main purpose, things some peoplee suggest clash with current design.

Like don't uber have a community relations person?

When was the last time they were even here?

What's the point of community relations if they don't relate regularly with the community?

Well I wouldn't log on just to get mauled by a bunch of jumpy people; most of whom just post instead of read the what else had been posted, which then causes a lot of getting yelled at by a lot of people for something you clarified just a little bit ago.

It's a forum, all you CAN do here is talk.

    It's the point.

Yet as soon as Uber made some design decisions that went against what a few vocal members of the community wanted, Uber were basically harassed by them every time they posted anything. This was no doubt a factor in them communicating less. Now people are complaining they communicate less, and those people that harassed them complain of being treated poorly by the Uber staff. It's a self fulfilling prophecy.

They've said multiple times they are working on it. And I honestly won't believe you haven't seen such posts. Yet suddenly because they aren't repeating that every day, it means we have no clue? This is exactly this sort of thing which contributes to the current situation. Uber could do a better job at communicating it, for sure. But it doesn't help when this misinformation is being deliberately spread.

Raevn, you're confused, the issue isn't that things changed, it never has been.

Emphasis mine. You can't "used" to do things if they never changed, and the post I was responding to was commenting specifically on that point.

Looks like they figured out that as long as they have a snazzy game promo trailer that looks cool and a bunch of "heartfelt" interviews saying how awesome they are now, and how great of a job they did on PA, **** the forums and reality cuz the mainstream is just going to hand over more money to them???

**** marketing and kickstarter promo videos. **** them hard.

Except that's not what Brian said, and it was him I was replying to. I can't be "confused" simply because I wasn't discussing a separate conversation ;)

As for your link, there's parts I agree with, and parts I don't. I don't believe the community is blameless; while many tried to work with Uber, others simply demanded they do things the way the community wanted.
