Alright, I've learned that when doing a forum search, I only get ten pages of results with only 200 matches items... This is a big issue... & there is no way to tell the search engine to look for threads "older than..." Only "newer than..." This needs to be addressed.
I just spent ten minutes perfecting this gif: And now I reread your post and realize that you're not asking for a "newer than" option, you know it's there. </3.
Limiting to 200 is very deliberate. Because of how Xenforo works, large searches can actually cause problems, and be used in a less than friendly manner. Unfortunately, it means limiting the search to 200.
Did you relocate the thread? Went to find the thread and had a hard time because it wasn't where I made it
Damn, that makes telling newcomers to use the search function rather pointless. It also is quite problematic when you know of the existence of a thread, but can't find it because of limited search
I've never seen a forums software that was able to deal with any sort of reasonable search request. Use google to search the forums instead: https://www.google.de/?gws_rd=ssl#q= site:uberent.com <your searchterm here> Yes I know that sucks because newbies won't come up with this idea.
