@cmdrflop y u no read "Upcoming tournaments"? The Super Swiss is this Saturday, anyone playing this Saturday should play in the Super Swiss!

Besides, @sookrispy, you are signed up for the Super Swiss, so if you can't make it, you should remove yourself from the sign-up list if you can.

Also: @cmdrflop you still haven't sent me the file to give me access to the Promethean system sharing server. Do it! I wantz!

Lastly, I agree to you @cmdrflop, I want small 1v1 tournaments often as well.

The next dates for clan wars are 1th, 8th and 22th november. If one of those dates doesn't work for some of you, please notify me. (So i can choose a date that works for everyone (If i still have time) obv.)​

Sat the 1st could be a problem (not sure)- I *should* be ok for the 8 th or 22 nd although it's difficult to know for sure this far in advance.

Hmmmm, it runs ok. Think I'm gonna have to buy a keyboard as well, the shift on my laptop one keeps letting me down.
Don't think I'm gonna be playing any 5v5s on 8 planet systems but it should work out, and I just beat the absurd AI a couple of times so I can't be THAT out of practice.

okay, what about a clan 1v1 tourney this saturday guys? I really need to practice my 1v1 skills After that(1-2weeks later) we can try to arrange a 2v2 clan tournament maybe? (4-6 teams, would be fun)

I'd be up for a tourney, I feel it's good to lose epically every now and then to avoid arrogance. Not 100% sure I'd be able to make it, but I could try. Are there any rubbish clan members who could play against me so I'd maybe get one win though? That'd be nice.

I'm sorry I totally missed your post ^^. I am Co-founder and game artist of a new game studio named RockitBit. We are developing a local multiplayer game named "Voggel" where each player takes control of a bird (which he or she can assemble himself through choosing between varius parts). The goal of this game is to gather birds by breaking open eggs which will hatch smaller birds. after a certain amount of time the player with the least ammount of birds will get eliminated till 1 player is left who then is the winner of the match.

But now you say.. that sounds boring. guess what.. you can steal each others bird simply by flying through their flock. There are also 4 diffrent eggs which will hatch 4 diffrent birds. Each bird gives the player the use of an ability but at the cost of sacrificing that bird. The 4 birds are:

Boost Bird: When sacrificing it will give the player a small speed boost in the direction it is flying.
Dart Bird: When used the Dart Bird will Ignite his engines and send him flying forward, Stealing bird when it goes through a flock or stunning a player when it's a direct hit.
Holy Bird: A passive bird that will deflect hostile projectiles.
Fire Bird: A simple grumpy little bird with 6 flamethrowers mounted on his body. What do I need to say more. When used he will fire a cone of fire in front of the player and can use it the quickly kill a lot of hostile birds.

With all this hecticness there is 1 more special move. When you manage to get 7 or more birds in your flock you will be able to shoot the "Giant Laser of Death and Destruction" upon your enemies. When hit by this laser the player will be instantly eliminated. (Yes triple kills happen )

BUT! We added even more chaos. Each level is inspired by cultural features of a certain country. Each level also has diffrent enviromental hazards based upon those cultural features. The levels we have now are the Netherlands and Japan. Where in the Netherlands your birds can be sucked into giant windmills and in Japan you are at all times vulnerable to sneaky ninja's shooting arrows at you and your flock.

We allready had amazingly good reviews from the biggest game reviewers in the Netherlands. (We were at INDIGO which is a indiegame expo of dutch games, for both small (like us) and big, like Ronimo Games (awesomenauts) and Abbey Games (Reus) students/companies. We were their favorite game on the expo.

So if you like the sound of it let your friends f,amily, ex-girlfriends etc.. know it, because we are in need of some serious international exposure real soon!
