I love mountain biking and went downhill biking in the Rockies in Colorado.

Everyone likes a good crash video, right? So here, laugh at my misfortune.

And here's a full run I did that includes a crash.

Brian, what happened to your face, the crash's made you grow a goatee and lose all your hair!

    lol

I've actually had the goatee for a few years, and have had shorter hair for a while as well.

I should update my profile pic...

Was wondering why fewer vids were getting posted.

Yeah. I had youtube vids scheduled for every day except... Thursday... And now I have a large backlog of matches to cast submissions.

But I haven't posted any vids to PA Matches. I'm pretty behind and dreading getting around to posting all those vids. :-(

Your falling reminded me of this

I can't help it but laugh. I am a terrible person.

One of my facebook friends sent me the 10 minute version of it. lol

You're not a terrible person, it's a very accurate description of how I felt, except I was beyond the point of being able to rock back and forth. All I could do was lie there. I even got a bump on my head through my helmet. It hurt...

Also in the first video did you actually go through the forest without a scrach and right after exiting you hit that one metalic column in the open field?

Shhh. It's ok. Have an adorable picture:

Once I tried to go around a picnic table and my pedal was at just the right height to get caught on the seat. Boy that sucked.

I went through the forest every time without a scratch. But yeah, in that video I came out of the forest, hit gravel, went off the trail, and then smashed into the only pole near the bike trail on the entire mountain.

Doing some street riding down a road that connects my suburban area to downtown Bellevue, I tore down the road, staying on the street the whole time, averaging about 40MPH on my hybrid bike (which.. is terrifying on a bike like that.. NOT built for speed).. As soon as I got to the flat area, I jumped over the grassy median to get back to the paved trail, since i was no longer doing the speeed limit. Little grass, no more than two feet wide, easy jump/glide, no problem! Of course, now at this most safe part of the ride, I hit a divot between the road and the grass exactly wheel width that proceeded to throw me over my handles.

Sigh. I also have serious talent. Wreck on the safest part of my ride. Being stupid, I continued to ride for the next 30 miles, only trailing a little blood behind me.

When you fell and you were screaming in pain, the skyline with the trees looked absolutely beautiful.
