I bought the game back when it was in early beta but never switched it to steam because i didn't see any reason to. I read today's patchnotes and with the adition of achievements and specifically the steam trading cards i'd love to switch over to steam. i can't seem to figure out how to though, i remember there used to be a link or whatever to change your uberent keys to a steam key but i can't find it, any help will be much appreciated. loving the game, the performance improvements were amazing and can't wait to see where this is going!
Only Kickstarter backers have the ability to convert a key on their Uber account. @wingzero17 - please submit a ticket to Support to request a Steam key. It may take some time as we are backlogged with requests, but you will get a Steam key.
I was gifted a KS key by a friend, can those also be updated to steam automatically or do I have to go through support as well? in my account it doesn't show any keys listed (other than the soundtrack). It's been like that for as long as I can remember but didn't really care since everything still worked.
Correct, only those who purchased the game through Kickstarter or the Uber Store will have keys on their My Keys page. http://support.uberent.com/kb/faq.php?id=5 If your friend is able to convert your key from their account, that's awesome! But in many cases they are unable to convert more than one key and a request to Support is necessary. Just let us know your account and your friend's account where the key is located.
