Hi I get no sound in the game using my g930 headset, it works in everything else. when i switch to the soundcard instead, the sound works fine in game. I tried reinstalling, to no avail
That sentence does not make sense for me: Headsets have to be connected to the soundcard in the first place. Otherwise how would they be able to play anything. So how can you switch from headset to soundcard? Is the G930 designed as a USB-Sound Card*? *I heard of them existing. And it would make some sense for a WiFi headset.
The G930 has its own soundcard And there was another G930 sound problems related tread here: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/sound-issues.63425/ Different problem though, I haven't tried the latest builds with my G930 headset, will try it later maybe. Isn't the gamesound switched off in the soundmixer? (I had that problem once )
I don't know if the sound is off in the sound mixer, but shouldn't that mute the intro too? Also the sound works with the headset I have plugged into the soundboard when I switch playback to that instead. I'll check when I get home. Edit: spelling
Well my ears are red now, it was turned down in the Volume Mixer. I dont remember turning it down and apparently windows doesn't reset it when you reinstall the game. sound is working now.
Hahaa you're not the only one, only I found it in 5 minutes when I had it Strange that it doesn't mute the intro then, maybe that is because the intro is just an embedded youtube vid. It might have a seperate slider in the mixer.
