The Launcher lanches, but then goes immediately to a minimized window.. You cant track its progress or nothing, only the version that was two weeks back down the road ago seemed to work, until it was replaced by the latest flop. I could bring up PA by itself, but it was not able to access any of my old games. Could not even bring up my last GW save or start even an AI skirmish. I have two seperate DxDiags attached, I am using win 7 with 4 Gigs main memory, graphicc card mem is 2Gigs... Maybe someone can find something I have overlooked?? Thanks in advance
Well your graphics drivers are over a year old, so you can start by updating them. That will most likely fix your problems
well, those same graphics drivers worked for the other version of the game - which was much less than a year old. BTW - Update - I tried reverting the code back to the last known working version of the code, it promptly brought the new code in, then the new code predictably, failed.... I am thinking there is a problem with the replacement updater... I also attempted file repair with the installer, to no avail. PA when I run it states that I need the new client/UI so its more than likely that the updater failed to complete its task.
Another update, the build for PA that still remains for the UI client is 71937... It should've been 72332.... The launcher is not getting it there. [I went into the menu where the program resides and bypassed the launcher, running the .Exe manually . ]
