There isn't much of a distinction. There are some differences, but not enough n Bluehawks (and Stingrays) should target orbital.
While some form of mobile anti orbital is needed letting bluehawks target orbital makes turtling ridiculously easy. In RCBM it's basically impossible to invade a planet because of bluehawks.
I wouldn't mind having the sup com tactical missiles back, giving a few more units the anti-missile weapon to help give resistance vs the strong anti-building missiles.
Any idea how awkward it would look to have them shooting straight up at orbital? I think they should be equipped with AA instead.
I rather like them as they are now, they're pretty entertaining com snipers if you have slammers and air coverage for them. And they don't get blocked by buildings in between their target. Do Gil-Es? I know they can shoot over some stuff
I thought I'd seen them fire over t1 energy, but it could've been that they happened to find a clear lane between them and the com. If they had a nice bright tracer beam we'd know
I figured a) bots, even t2 bots, are cheaper than t2 vehicles and b) bluehawks don't need direct line of sight, unlike a Gil-E.
Also, bluehawks aren't quite the range, and their weapon is shot down by gil-e. So, they are easier to rush, and pack more a punch, great for com snipes, but they lose to another enemy producing gil-e, although it is harder to get the same power of gil-e up they do have longer range and great damage as well. Wouldn't mind seeing them able to fire at orbital, air, and land, with an average 100 range on all layers. But as far as the OP, this, their use is cheaper gil-e to rush a big hit on a base or a snipe on a commander, seen them used as such, pack a big whallop against tanks and commander and structures. Gil-e do so even better, but disproportionately cost the same for less dps.
