Unit ideas for, "wohw/boom" over "stupid" and "wtf" untill "are you totally nuts ???????"

    Stuff like:

    the super metalextractor (has the sme output as all minig gstation with 30 output on every metal spot on this planet together)

    The commando bunker (protects your comander and can withstand 4 Nukes for sure)

    rod from god (the ultimate bunkerbuster)

    nuclear powered aircraftcarrier

    land based and orbital based nuke launchers

    nuclear boom bot

    that's for the beginnig

    let's hear your ideas for 1x overpowered, 2x overpriced, giantic ultra slow and totally inpractibal units, that give you the kick of awsome and would probably ruin the gameplay.

    I remember someone made this a mod; they replaced the damage/radius and effects of a nuke with the boom bot explosion.

    These are all moddable through ,json edits, if you take some time and learn how to mod (its not too hard) you could make this yourself :D

    I loved the cybran t2 destroyer, how about applying the function to a vehicle?

    Amphibian unit, extends legs to walk on water. We can call it jesus tank.

    Don't you mean the other way around? Letting the nuke have the explosion of a boom bot is kinda underwhelming ;)

    But Jesus was a land walker that walked on water. So more like a inverse Jesus. Maybe the "Judas"?

    Most ofthe OP's ideas would go square into the "Experimental Tier" area. There is a reason they choose not to have T4 units in this game (or T3 for that matter).
    All T3+T4 really do is put the focus on themself, making T1+T2 mostly uselesss. In SupCom T2 had some "better then nothing" AA units, but that was it. You never build anything else from T1+T2 if you could avoid it.

    Someone called Experimentals "glorified battering rams needed to get through shielded defense".
    The pace of the game (especialyl the lack of ability to turtle except for planet scale) don't need those battering rams.

    You are better very carefull what you are asking for. Because those could easily change how the game works:

    Actually, that's not a bad idea maybe? Halley sends it into the Sun. Although I guess the situations where you would want to use that, it would be easier to kill the enemy commander some other way that doesn't involve invading his planet, setting up Halleys, and preventing his orbital escape.

    Or what about droppable Halleys ?
    Halleys lauched from your, planet flying to an enemy owned, landing there and pushing that planet on top of an other enemys commander. And BOOOM twto birds with one stone (you ma take the wor literally)
